Work Party II - Sunday

Since we had such a nice turnout for last Sunday's work party, Jim and I thought that we'd try again for this Sunday (January 17) at 2pm. Let's meet at the entrance again, rain or shine!

The remaining flags need to come down, and perhaps one or two neighbors would like to take a look at the lighting on the stone fence posts along 86th.

If you live in one of the homes on 85th, we'll need to have access to your backyard. The crew will work as quickly as possible.

Can anyone think of anything else that we can add to the list?

There is quite a bit of garbage around the subdivision. Maybe we can have a crew ready to pick it up. We could also empty the playground trash cans. I know that we have a dump run that needs to be made ourselves so this would make it worth our will.

I am game for another clean up. I will try to go and get some hinges for the gate and install them on Sunday. We could also check out what is so interesting in the woods right after the clean up.

Something else to add.. we might want to head over to the Sterling trailer and do some clean-up. A neighbor brought it to my attention that kids have been playing around (and even underneath) the trailer. The neighbor is concerned about all the dangerous items around the trailer. So perhaps a crew could either clean some of the junk up, or make a neighborhood rule that the kids need to stay away from the trailer. It would be terrible if someone got hurt when we have no insurance.
