Sign Damaged

Sometime last evening, the giant sign (advertising Grand Firs and the builders) at our north entrance was damaged. Someone ripped half of it down. So now it's an even bigger eyesore than it was before, and we all know that no one is going to come out and fix it. It's obsolete anyway, given that two of the three builders no longer exist.

Rather than repair the sign, it's going to be easier to just take it down. Are there a couple of neighbors willing to volunteer some time to dismantle the rest of the sign? Please leave a comment so we can get something coordinated! Thanks :)

Im definitely in...also, I think it is more than apparant that we are in need of getting a crew together to clean up the neighborhood, primarily the entrance. There is so much trash on the side of the road on the way in, cups, etc...Since noone is invested in the neighborhood anymore, I think it is really up to us now to keep it clean.

I'm in and the sooner the better. I have some flexability, so just post a time/date on the blog.

No offense, but if we wait for Jim Selden to help out in any way with a sign or anything else...Im not holding my breath. Lets just start getting things done without his non-existant help. Thanks.

I did see a sign van here this afternoon. I am assuming he was taking a peek at the sign. We will see what happens.
