Gate Code Information

A team of three people will be hitting the neighborhood in the next few days to gather missing information so Chris can re-program the gate's control box. If you don't get a knock at your door, it means that Chris already has all the information he needs for your household.

We'll send out a flyer when the change-over takes place. Chris hopes to have everything switched by March 1st. The old "key-key" codes will remain in place for a short grace period and will eventually be wiped out. The goal is to keep everyone informed so that no one is locked out!

I've exchanged several emails with Elizabeth (the Renaissance Homes agent) regarding our gate. She graciously agreed to let us keep the gate closed 24x7 as long as she and the builder are given an access code. Her phone has also been programmed into the box, allowing her to buzz potential clients in.

When the switch takes place will our phone number be programmed in also? Wasn't sure if I noted that on that list at the most recent meeting that our name/telephone number was never put into the gate - so when someone comes it presents a problem when they can't find us.

Everyone's names will be programmed into the box, allowing a guest to call your house directly. Chris is waiting on the three volunteers to finish gathering info from all the neighbors so he can program everything at once :)

I haven't given my info to anyone yet, as far as I know nobody has come by.

Hey there.. like I mentioned in the post, if you don't get a knock at the door, it means Chris already has the info he needs on your household. Jim Selden had a list that he passed along to us, and it had most of the info Chris needed. He was only missing stuff from about 15 homes (and most of those were rentals).

Jen has collected most of the missing info. The box will be re-programmed ASAP. We will be sure to notify the neighborhood when this takes place. Thanks for the patience, everyone :)
