Drunks in Phase 3-4

Thanks to Johnny, Michelle and Pierce County Sheriff, a couple of drunks were escorted from the property (Phase 3-4) earlier today. Though they were driving when the police caught up to them, they were not cited for DUI or trespassing. However, it's nice that the cops at least had the opportunity to catch someone (and hopefully discourage them from coming back).

Their vehicles are still parked in the back (white Ford Ranger and black Isuzu Trooper) until the clowns come to pick them up. So if you see these vehicles in the next day or so, you don't need to worry about reporting them. Unless of course, the occupants have returned and are causing problems.

Keep calling 911 for anything in progress, or the non-emergency number for anything not in progress. Johnny and Michelle, thank you for being proactive and reporting these guys.

The two men were parked out behind the retention pond on the dirt road, and they left their cars there for at least two hours while they walked out into the woods. I think that a group of the men in our community should go out together next weekend and see what they can find out there that may have been keeping these two busy for a couple of hours. Anyone up for joining in?

I would gladly join a group and go find out what is back there. I also would like to see a group patrol that area in the back at night on the weekends. Just for an hour or so to see what we miss while we are all sleeping. I think it would do some good to get the Pierce County Sheriff involved in this weekend patrol. Thanks.

We can ask that Pierce County deputies do patrol checks in the back for us, but I know they are understaffed and cover a large area called D10, with only a few deputies at a time. We are part of D10 which begins at 224th to the Thurston County line.

It is a great idea to get a group of folks to go back into the woods in daylight hours. My husband and I walked back there about a year ago to see if there was a lab or grow...saw nothing, but a lot can happen in a year!

Thanks to all for being so watchful.
