People are beginning to receive letters from Rainier View stating they need to have backflow irrigation tests performed on their sprinkler systems. We have a family friend who does these tests as a side job (he did ours), and he said it's okay for me to put his contact info on the blog:

It gets better.. if we can get at least 5 homeowners on board, he will give everyone a discount since he'd only have to make one trip. Washington state law says the test has to be done every year, so if you're due, give Brad a call!

Did he happen to say what the group rate would be?
I believe it was $30 per home. And he said you don't need to be home for him to perform the test since the meter is outside. His wife types up a report and will mail it to you.
I just called Brad to schedule. It's $50 for just one house and $30 for a group. They will wait to come out for about a week or so to see if they get more takers on their offer. Let's hurry & call so we can all get the great deal!
